Marketing Audit Checklist
The questions worth answering before spending on a new campaign, not after.
Most campaign underperformance traces back to something that was never checked before launch, not the creative itself. This is the check pass worth running first.
- Is conversion tracking actually firing correctly, verified end to end, not just installed?
- Does every channel route to a page built to convert that specific visitor's intent?
- Is there a documented ideal customer profile, or is targeting based on assumption?
- Are past campaign results written down anywhere, or does every campaign start from zero?
- Is CRM segmentation doing real work, or is every contact getting the same sequence?
- Does the reported metric (impressions, clicks, reach) actually tie to a business outcome?
- Is there a named owner for each channel, or is everything "the marketing person's job"?
